What is Imaginary Number

Imaginary numbers are the numbers which don't belong to real world.

What does it mean?

From childhood we have learnt about so many numbers, be it natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, irrational numbers etc. But all these are called Real numbers. Besides these numbers there is also one type of number which contains negative sign under the square root. Viz, √-1, √-4 etc. They are called imaginary numbers.

He became an instant phenomenon, and led the way for many other rock music performers over the decades to come. In the 1960s, the Beatles were another hugely successful and popular rock music group, also inspired by rhythm and blues songs and by the work of other early British rock music performers, such as Cliff Richard.
